Spurs
The Spurs are in need of a PF. Especially since DeMar said that he plans to take a 'wide open' approach to free, so he most likely won't be back. Aldridge was bought out, and in free agency, the Spurs are in need of a guy that can create his own shot and defend. Jerami Grant is the absolute perfect fit for the Spurs. Grant is 6-foot-8 with a wingspan of 7-foot-3. He has absurd athleticism and can provide the Spurs with a consistent play on both sides of the ball. He has a terrific handle, and the looseness of it usually catches defenders off guard, which allows an easy path to the basket. He has become one of the most elite ISO players in the league. Grant is in the 83rd percentile in isolation, scoring 1.23 points per possession. He ranks seventh in the NBA in ppp for players with at least 20 possessions. The six ahead of him? Bradley Beal, Kyrie Irving, Zion Williamson, Kevin Durant, DeMar DeRozan, Andrew Wiggins. He is also drawing fouls at an exceptional rate. He is already one of the NBA's most elite big-man scorers in the league. He is currently averaging 22.6 ppg and has shooting splits of: 43/35. I truly believe the pairing of Dejounte Murray, Devin Vassell, Keldon Johnson, Jakob Poeltl, and Lonnie Walker IV would not only be fun to watch but extremely effective offensively and defensively. They also The Spurs would still have $50 Million in cap space, so they can do whatever they want.

Pistons
The Pistons capitalize on Grant's value and acquire two first-round picks, Derrick White, and a young player in Luka Doncic(Just kidding, it's Luka Samanic). Derrick White is a young two-way star. He's pretty good at pick-and-rolls, he can shoot at a high rate, he is good at switching on defense, and actually, he is one of the most versatile defenders in the league. He can defend 1-through-3, and sometimes the 4. He has the IQ and skills to become one of the most impactful players. Luka Samanic has dominated in the G-League. Samanic has averaged 22.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 2 assists per contest. That puts him fifth in the G-League in scoring and seventh in the league in rebounding. If the Piston develops him, he can easily become a great two-way player. The Young pairing of: Killian Hayes, Derrick White, Josh Jackson, Saddiq Bey, and Isaiah Stewart would help the Pistons in their rebuilding plans.
