Mavs: The Luka-KP experiment hasn't worked out too well yet. The Mavericks may want to move on from KP. In this trade, the Mavericks clear a ton of cap space to pursue another star, and fill out a roster lacking with talent by adding young pieces in Rui Hachimura and Thomas Bryant for the future to build around Luka. They get more depth, and cap space to add a better fitting 2nd option to Luka.

Wizards: The Wizards will trade a lot of short term contracts and two future parts of their team in Rui and TB, and absorb a lot of money. However, they get a building block of the future in Porzingis, and as well a 7 foot sniper that fits well alongside Westbrook and Beal for the present.
