Trade 1: Onyeka Okongwu for Luguentz Dort
Would the Hawks be overpaying? Yes. But considering they barely play Onyeka Okongwu (Clint Capela is much better than anticipated), it makes sense for them. As for the Thunder, they find their long-term center - a man who brought in Bam Adebayo comparisons when drafted. Dort is the perfect backcourt partner for Trae Young, as he can drain 3s and play top-tier defense.
Trade 2: John Collins and Kevin Huerter for Jerami Grant Jahlil Okafor
Okafor is only included to match salaries. Grant is much more valuable to Atlanta because of the versatility he brings on the defensive end. Grant can share the floor with Gallinari, Collins cannot. Huerter is thrown in because the market for Jerami Grant will likely be a competitive one.
Signing: Tony Bradley (MLE). Bradley is a very good backup center. He's 23 years old, shoots 66% from the field, and plays good defense. He's a restricted free agent, but OKC won't match the contract, as Bradley would be playing behind both Onyeka Okongwu and Moses Brown
New Rotation:
Trae Young // Lou Williams // Kris Dunn
Luguentz Dort // Bogdan Bogdanovic
DeAndre Hunter // Cam Reddish
Jerami Grant // Danilo Gallinari // Nathan Knight
Clint Capela // Tony Bradley // Jahlil Okafor
