If the Kings draft Saddiq Bey and Paul Reed, their starting lineup could be Fox, Oladipo, Barnes, Reed, Turner with Joseph, Lamb, Bey, Bjelica and Holmes as backups. They'd need a strong rebounder next to Turner and the group of Oladipo, Reed and Turner seems destined to make defensive plays like crazy. Suddenly the Kings could be an elite defensive team and hope for more than just the eighth seed.

The Pacers are very good at developing their bigs, see Turner and Sabonis. If Bagley can stay healthy, they'd be one of the top three or four teams in the East. Starters: Brogdon, Hield, Warren, Bagley, Sabonis. Bogi would be their sixth man playing starter's minutes as a combo guard.

The Kings get a 2022 first round pick because of all the talent Indiana has locked up in this trade, Bagley's upside and the high risk of Oladipo signing with another team next summer. They can also unload two of Vlade's second rounders.

EDIT: I'm actually leaning more towards drafting Aaron Nesmith instead of Saddiq Bey now. He could come off the bench as a swingman until Lamb is back. He's also a great insurance for the Kings if Oladipo decides to leave in free agency and the team needs a new starter at SG.

One last thing about this trade. It was reported that the Kings are interested in signing Giannis in 2021 (who isn't?). Right now there's zero chance that's gonna happen. Giannis wants to win and if the Kings want him to consider them an option they have to be good next year. This trade could make that happen and it would also give them the necessary financial flexibility to sign him, theoretically. It's still a longshot, of course.
