Why Orlando Does It: It’s time to trade AG. I honestly believe that if Isaac wasn’t hurt, AG would’ve been traded already. This might be the last time for this organization to get something of true value for Gordon. Nesmith is projected to be a knockdown shooter & could somewhat be a poor man’s Evan Fournier on this team. Even though Romeo hasn’t played a lot due to constant injuries, he has shown to be a really nice perimeter defender in the games he’s played so far. Getting a Lottery Protected 1st would be a nice throw in.

Why Boston Does It: All eyes are on Danny Ainge to do something with that $28.5M TPE. Aaron Gordon is currently injured, but he makes sense as a someone who gives this team more size, defensive versatility, and athleticism upfront. AG’s 3 point shooting has improved this season, with it being at a career high 37%. If he can just stay at the 36-38% range from beyond the arc, he will he an absolute perfect fit on this team going forward.
