Dame + Randle would be more effective on the offensive end than Dame + CJ simply because it provides the Blazers with a nice one-two punch, rather than the same combo-move. Dame and CJ are too similar to be effective, especially in the playoffs. Also, with Trent Jr proving to be a better fit alongside Lillard, CJ would most likely be traded. Ntilikina provides much-needed defense, and he could play the 3 at times. The 2021 picks would most likely be in the lottery.

Starters: Damian Lillard - Gary Trent Jr - Robert Covington - Julius Randle - Jusuf Nurkic. (This lineup has a more diverse offense, and would allow Lillard to have two consistent shooters in Trent Jr and Covington, while also having an interior force in Randle and Nurkic. His assist numbers would jump dramatically.)

Bench: Anfernee Simons - Frank Ntilikina - Derrick Jones Jr - Carmelo Anthony - Enes Kanter(This lineup now has improved defense with Ntilikina and Jones Jr.)

Small-Ball Lineup: Damian Lillard - Frank Ntilikina - Gary Trent Jr - Robert Covington - Julius Randle(This lineup provides the Blazers with excellent defense and a great one-two punch with Lillard and Randle)

So while this may not be a "Perfect" trade for CJ, but it is a very interesting trade.
