Swapping Point Guards With Detroit Trade Package: Eric Bledsoe for Derrick Rose and John Henson

For the Pistons, it is only a matter of time before they lose Derrick Rose. Teams such as the Lakers and Clippers have been rumored to be in the running for him, and neither team can offer much in return for him. Rose, at this point in his career, is a fringe All-Star and a great point guard who can shoot and pass.

At the very least, they should replace some of his scoring and numbers with a capable point guard. Bledsoe, with his 14.9 PPG and 5.4 APG averages, comes close. Rose put up 18.1 PPG and 5.6 APG which is All-Star numbers, but Detroit won’t lose too much as Bledsoe made 2 All-NBA Defensive Teams and is a fantastic defensive player. Adding Athleticism and Potential To Save Giannis Trade Package: Khris Middleton for Zach LaVine and Tomas Satoransky

This trade gives the Bulls an All-Star swingman who can shoot and defend better than most players in the league right now. Middleton has blossomed into quite an effective player and is an excellent player in the modern NBA. While Middleton is not a superstar, he is a good enough player to get a nice return for Zach LaVine who might be leaving soon. There are rumblings about LaVine and trade requests because he is wasting his talents in a very poor team in the East. The Bulls can regroup with Middleton by replacing some offense and actually adding defensive capabilities.

For the Bucks, they get an ultra-athletic guard who can score the lights out. While LaVine is not the defender Middleton is, he is much more potent offensively and can drop 30 points with ease when he is feeling himself. The athletic guard is averaging 25.5 PPG this season, showing improvements as a scorer and shooter.
