Nuggets Side: The Nuggets, with this trade, improve on perimeter defense, and let Jamal Murray run the 2, which he can thrive at since playmaking isn't his specialty. This trade can help them move farther in the playoffs and helps their case and play to be championship contenders. Eric Bledsoe has this impression of being bad in the playoffs. the nuggets shouldn't rely on his offense in the playoffs, but take his defense and let Murray and Jokic score naturally. Eric Bledsoe can help in the Regular season. and this is a steal for the price they are getting him at. As for what they are giving up, Will Barton is being replaced and Gary Harris will probably play the 3. and a second round pick is a second round pick.

Lineup: Bledsoe - Murray - Harris - Millsap - Jokic

Pelicans side: As K0T4Q said in his nightly recap, "Bledsoe feels like he doesn't want to play basketball for that team. it feels like hes gonna tweet "I don't wanna be here", once again," With this trade, The pelicans ship him off, and continue youth growth. when the pelicans played the Celtics, Eric Bledsoe didn't play in OT, or during the comeback run. IMO the Pelicans don't really need him and they get back a 3 and D player, and let players like Kira Lewis, and Josh hart get more PT.
