It is rumored that the Kings are interested in acquiring Lavine from the bulls and this is a trade to do it. The money was hard to work out from here as they don't have Hield's contract formed, which is 20 mil, so in reality, it will be easy to match.

The king's clearly want to get rid of Hield as they moved him to the bench this season and he is frustrated with that new role. The Bulls will have to get a pick or two to accept as surprisingly Hield is a couple of years older than Lavine.
