Paul Millsap: Millsap turns 36 this season and is well past his prime, but he still offers leadership, tough defense, and shooting. Portland’s bigs got wrecked by AD, a reliable vet like Millsap could help. Jae Crowder: The 6-foot-6, 235-pound forward is a stout on-ball defender, tenacious competitor and he can play both the three and the four. He’s also a decent and willing three-point shooter. Crowder would fit perfectly with the Blazers’ current lineup and, like Covington, give coach Terry Stotts greater roster versatility. An offseason that includes the addition of Covington and Crowder would be a home run for Olshey. Nerlens Noel: The Blazers are go to let Hassan Whiteside walk, so adding a backup big is a must. Nerlens Noel would be a nice get. His high-flying game —which leans on shot-blocking, alley-oop finishing and rim-running — would add a different element to the Blazers’ frontcourt. Kris Dunn: Dunn’s shooting leaves a lot to be desired — he shot a woeful 29% from three-point range last season — but he’s a tenacious defender and steal collector (2.0 per game last season) who could fit in as a backup point guard. Let's say the Blazers sign all these players, their lineup would be:

Starters: Damian Lillard. CJ McCollum. Jae Crowder. Robert Covington. Jusuf Nurkic. Bench: Kris Dunn. Anfernee Simons. Gary Trent Jr. Paul Milsap. Zach Collins.

Chance of signing Milsap: 80-100%

Chance of signing Noel: 75-100%

Chance of signing Dunn: 55-90%

Chance of signing Crowder: 50-90%
