Seems at least to be close enough in value for GMs (and fantasy GMs) to not hang up the phone. I’ll try to hit on the iffy ones.

For Ind: I’ve thought for a few years that Maxi is an amazing fit next to Sabonis (wanted to trade for Sabonis before he blew up for that reason). He’s a versatile defender and good help side shot blocker. He is pretty bad as a big man defender (which is a good reason he would pair well with Sabonis). Can guard the 2 through small ball 5. Perfect as a set up 3 man and a pretty sneaky cutter at times (could learn that a bit more). JRich is also a versatile defender who is quick to the ball and can guard the 1 through 3. Can handle the ball for spells, but isn’t a floor general type. Losing Turner hurts but adding Kleber and Tucker eases that blow. This might be a team that needs more than a second and pick swap.

For NY: Burke for Frank swap is to remove protection on the 2023 so we can trade the 2025. Couldn’t figure out how to do that. I feel removing the protection warrants more from NY, but I don’t have any memory of this actually happening to gauge the value of it. Maybe a second to the Pacers?

For Atl: This depends on whether or not they will pay Collins the max this offseason. If they’re willing to match ALL offers, then that is a dead end. If not, I’ve heard Reddish isn’t working out for them either and I can see that Gallinari isn’t on a big contract.

For Mavs: They get some seemingly perfect fits on paper. A healthy VO is the right pairing next to Luka, a versatile defender who can handle the ball for stretches of the game to get Luka’s usage rate down a bit. A shot blocking big in Turner who can erase mistakes made on the perimeter and do lots of things on the offensive side. Collins is either the second or 3rd best player depending on VO’s contributions. Gallo solidifies the floor spacer big on offense that Kleber occupies, although nowhere near the defender that Maxi is. The rest is salary filler mainly.
