Charlotte get the best rebounder in the NBA who is putting up career numbers and is only 27 with probably 4-5 good years left in him. They also get a decent second since they trade quite a bit of young talent. Devonte is actually quite old and up for an extension and Malik Monk is pretty bad while Miles Bridges has been moved to the bench.

Grizzlies get Jerami Grant who is on career high numbers. He is very versatile and will give the Grizzlies another scoring option. He can also chip in the defense provided by Clarke. Notice that the two players Grant and Clarke only have a two year age difference. Grizzlies have a somewhat weak backcourt depth, kinda. Devonte could provide a scoring boost and act as a veteran amongst the young bench. They also get a young prospect in KPJ who can also chip in for the lost defense in Clarke and can be another young project for Memphis.

I think I should have given Detroit a pick, I messed up on that part. But they get expiring contracts and a young project in Bridges. Memphis can trade the Utah first to Detroit or their 2021 pick top 10 protected or a 2022 pick protected.

This trade all started when I was thinking about the CAVS missing piece. They need a small forward, who can do a little bit of scoring but provide a ton of defense, but is still quite young. WELL CLARKE IS PERFECT. So, I tried to figure out a way to get Clarke on the CAVS while trading Drummond too. Perfect isn't it.
