Trade 1: Tristan Thompson, Moses Brown, Romeo Langford, and Payton Pritchard for Christian Wood and Danuel House

Houston gets 3 solid young players, Boston gets a borderline star.

Trade 2: Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart for Ben Simmons and Tyrese Maxey (throw in a future first from Philly).

Philly gets rid of the guy who's been a liability in the playoffs. Boston gets an incredible fit in Simmons, who adds size, defense, and playmaking. The team is well-rounded enough for him to not be needed in hack-a-Ben situations.

Signings:

Garrett Temple (1/$4.5M) has been a very good combo guard off the bench this year, and I like his potential fit in Boston.

Evan Fournier (4/$60.5M) was solid in Boston this year and fits in perfectly with the roster I just constructed. Worth bringing back.
