Why Detroit Does It: It's looking more increasingly that Grant will be traded before the February 10th Trade Deadline date. Jerami would be extremely valuable to pretty much every aspiring contending team in the NBA, but he doesn't quite fit the timeline for where the Pistons are as a franchise at the moment. Dieng & Delon are just here for salary purposes, both could be buy-out candidates. Reddish and that lottery protected 1st via ATL would be the big pieces going to Detroit.

Cam is an extremely interesting player with lots of potential, but his name keeps on popping up in trade discussions. It could be that Cam is extension eligible after this season, and they value keeping Hunter over him. Nonetheless this would be the type of player that would be a fun fit for Troy Weaver to acquire. He would pair next to the other Pistons young players' in Cade (Franchise Player), Hayes, Saddiq & Stewart. For that lottery protected 1st, I would expect for it to convey to the Pistons this year. Getting two first round picks in a projected nice draft class along with a huge amount of cap space for this summer, it would help accelerate the Pistons rebuild quicker.

Starting 5: Hayes-Cunningham-Reddish-Bey-Stewart

Why Atlanta Does It: The Hawks have been sort of a disappointment so far this season. They currently find themselves 10th place in the Eastern Conference and with the recent news of Trae going into the Health & Safety protocols they could lose even more ground. The good thing about trading for Jerami now, would be that he's still under contract past this season. There would questions about him playing next to Collins since both are listed as 4s, but the good thing about Jerami is that he's versatile enough to play at the 3. He's currently hurt at the moment, so I wouldn't expect this type of trade to happen at this time.

Losing Dieng wouldn't hurt the Hawks that much, since they already have Capela & OO at the 5. Delon has been straight horrendous this season, as he hasn't solidified a rotational spot on the team. Losing Cam would be a huge gut punch to that fan base, as he's become a big fan favorite amongst Hawks fans. However he is eligible for an extension as early as this summer, and it's not guaranteed that Schlenk is going to pay him with Hunter & Jalen Johnson on the team already as wing/forward depth. I expect the Hawks to figure themselves out and make it in the playoffs, so they would most likely lose their 1st round pick. This would be a team that could field a pretty nice 10 man rotation with everybody healthy of Trae, Lou, Huerter, Bogi, Hunter, Grant, Gallo, Collins, OO & Capela.

Starting 5: Trae-Bogi-Grant-Collins-Capela
