Why I think each trade benefits each side.

Timberwolves are the biggest winners in this trade in this sneaky amazing trade for them. At a glance, it doesn't look like much but this is a move that improves their roster for the present and near future. Timberwolves don't have a lot of flexibility financially to make moves. Mike Conley's expiring deal won't free up space because Edwards and McDaniels' huge contract extension will kick in next year and they won't have cap space to sign free agents. The only way they could go over the cap to sign players is if they use their player's bird rights to resign players and that is why this trade should be a no-brainer for the Wolves. Not to mention Tyus is from Minnesota so I don't see why he wouldn't sign for his hometeam who are contenders. They would be giving up Mike Conley, Anderson, and second-round draft picks for a younger at-point guard without downgrading, an elite catch-and-shoot threat, and two possible role players.

76ers make a low-risk/high-reward move and take advantage while Maxey is still on his rookie deal to acquire a very good team player in DeRozan for a one-year rental while only giving up players that are out of their rotation, a 1 protected first-round pick, and a second-round pick. Worst case: it doesn't work out, they get DeRozan's contract off their books and they lose a late first-round pick and second-round pick. Best case: Derozan ends up being the difference-maker they need to reach the finals.

The Suns trade almost all of their remaining assets for Caruso and Kyle Anderson to give them much-needed defensive versatility as either or can play alongside Beal, Booker, KD, and Nurkic. Caruso gives them an elite point-of-attack defender who is not a complete zero on offense while Kyle Anderson is a versatile defender who can play the role of a point forward on offense for a team that could benefit from one.

The wizards have three options. Overpay Tyus Jones and offer him an insane amount of money that he can't say no to so he can stay on a bad team, trade him for pennies on the dollar, or lose him for nothing. The wizards take option two and get Lonzo Ball and second-round picks instead of losing him for nothing.

Bulls: Bulls start the rebuild process and acquire 8 picks draft picks for DeMar, Caruso, and Ball. They also take on a bunch of expiring contracts so they can free up money to make moves in free agency this summer.
